Self-Defense & Awareness

Real-world, psychology-driven self-defense education — situational awareness, the dynamics of violence, and what actually happens before, during, and after a confrontation. No fluff, no fantasy, just what works.

Self-defense material led by a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belt — real-world, pressure-tested, and principle-based.

Regulate · Qigong

Qigong & the Body

Qigong is the movement practice behind every SRS program — slow movement, paced breath, and focused attention that settle the body under stress. Here's what it is, and what the practice actually does.

Harvard Medical School reports qigong shows promise for easing hypertension and depression; a 2020 systematic review found positive results for stress, mood, and cardiovascular health. Taught here by an instructor with Shaolin Qigong certifications earned under Shaolin disciples.

Regulate · Nervous System

Nervous-System Regulation

Stress is a physiological state — and like any state, it can be shifted on purpose. The most reliable lever most people have is the breath. Here's the mechanism, and the simple tools we teach.

Slow, diaphragmatic breathing increases parasympathetic activity and heart-rate variability — the body's capacity to recover from stress (Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, 2018).

Frequently Asked

Common Questions

How long is a typical engagement?

Seminars run 2–4 hours, or as a multi-session program for deeper work. Custom corporate engagements are delivered in cohorts with follow-up sessions thereafter. We do not lock clients into multi-year contracts.

Do you offer virtual programs?

Only our qigong and breathwork seminars are available virtually. Anything involving self-defense — including our full resilience workshops — is delivered in person; it's a physical skill that doesn't transfer through a screen.

What size organizations do you work with?

Our programs are built for teams — from small leadership groups to larger departments delivered in cohorts. We focus on serious, hands-on training, not mass-market lunch-and-learns.

How do you measure outcomes?

Where a client wants measurement, we can begin with a baseline survey and re-survey afterward against the same questions — tracking self-reported composure, perceived safety, and team cohesion, plus any operational metrics agreed during planning.

Are your facilitators qualified?

Yes — and specifically so. Our qigong and breathwork instruction comes from a teacher holding Shaolin Qigong certifications earned directly under Shaolin disciples. Our self-defense material is led by a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belt. Every program is taught by someone credentialed and practiced in the exact discipline they're teaching.
